What is Certified Toolbar?
Certified Toolbar is a browser add-on for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome, that offers easy access to applications and search. We've created Certified Toolbar with usefulness and security in mind, and made privacy as well and fun & play applications equality accessible, anytime, from within your browser.

This page is here to assist you in the event you want to disable functions provided by Certified Toolbar.

To remove Certified Toolbar please follow the below instructions.

Uninstall Certified Toolbar:

Windows xp:
  1. Close all open web browsers.
  2. Go to Windows Start menu > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
  3. From your programs list, click on Certified Toolbar and click the Remove/Uninstall button:

  4. Click Yes to confirm.
  5. Click Yes to restart your system.


Windows 7:
  1. Close all open web browsers.
  2. Go to Windows Start menu > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
  3. From your programs list, click on Certified Toolbar and click the Remove/Uninstall button:

  4. Click Yes to confirm.
  5. Click Yes to restart your system.

 

How to change your homepage settings:


FireFox  FireFox –
  1. Open the web site you want to set as your home page. If you want a blank home page, open a new tab.
  2. Click the icon to the left of the web address, drag it to the Home button Home, and release.
  3. Click Yes to set this as your home page.

Chrome  Chrome –
  1. Click the Chrome menu Menu.
  2. Select Settings.
    • Add the home button to the browser toolbar
      Homepage button is off by default. Select the "Show Home button" checkbox in the "Appearance" section to show it on the browser toolbar.
    • Set your homepage
      When the "Show Home button" checkbox is selected, a web address appears below it. If you want the Homepage button to open up a different webpage, click Change to enter a link.

Internet Explorer  Internet Explorer –
  1. Open the Settings menu Settings, and then click Internet Options.
  2. Under the General tab, enter the web address of your new home page, and then click Apply.
 

How to change your search provider settings:


FireFox  FireFox –
  1. Type "about:config" in the address bar.
  2. Type "Keyword.url" in the search box. Right click the search result and then click Reset.
  3. Type "browser.search.defaultengine" in the search box. Right click the search result and then click Reset.

Chrome  Chrome –
  1. Click the Chrome menu Menu.
  2. In the Search section, open the drop down menu and choose the wanted search provider.

Internet Explorer  Internet Explorer –
  1. Open the Settings menu Settings, and then click Manage Add-ons.
  2. Under the Search Providers tab, choose your new search provider, and then click Set as default.
  3. If the wanted search provider does not appear on the list you can use the “Find more search providers” link at the bottom of the window.
