Will Certified Toolbar work with my Web browser and operating system?
Certified Toolbar will work with Internet Explorer versions 6 and higher, Firefox 2 and higher and Chrome.
The toolbar supports 32 bit versions of Windows XP and Vista.

How do I determine which browser version I have?

What are the system requirements for installing Certified Toolbar?
Installing Certified Toolbar requires roughly 2MB of free disk space on your drive. If you are currently able to run a supported Web browser on your computer, you should have no problem running Certified Toolbar. In addition to free space on your hard drive, you will need a supported Web browser and operating system , a computer with 256MB of RAM, a mouse or similar pointing device and Internet access.

Is Certified Toolbar a "spyware"?
NO! Certified Toolbar is completely "spyware" free. Period! Certified Toolbar was specifically designed to provide a great user experience free of spyware, malware or other similar activities. In order to achieve that goal:

Certified Toolbar DOES NOT monitor the websites visited by the end user for any purpose other than enabling specific functionalities. These functions can be disabled by clicking on a specific application and disabling it.
Certified Toolbar DOES NOT serve or facilitate pop-ups. Many applications are identified as spyware because they monitor end-user Internet usage and pop-ups. Certified Toolbar does not engage in any such practices.
Certified Toolbar does NOT require you to provide any personal information. No email address, registration or other information is required to use the product. Unlike many other products, we do not attempt to collect data upon startup as a requirement of use.

In short, Certified Toolbar provides a superior search experience on an ANONYMOUS basis and without any additional monitoring or other nuisances.

How do I access the Certified Toolbar settings menu?
To access the setting menu, click the Certified Toolbar log at the left corner of the toolbar and the settings menu will show.
If you're looking to learn more, disable or enable specific apps, simply click the app icon and a settings page will show with additional information and control buttons.

How do I disable/stop Certified Toolbar on a specific browser?
Disabling Certified Toolbar is easy, simply follow the below instructions according to the browser you're currently using:
In Internet Explorer, do the following:
Go to the "tools" menu at the top of your browser Select "Manage Add-Ons" Click "Certified Toolbar" to and click the "disable" button at the lower right corner
In Firefox:
Go to the "tools" menu at the top of your browser Select "Add-Ons" Click "Certified Toolbar" to and click the "disable" button at the lower right corner
In Chrome:
Open Chrome and go to 'Settings' > 'Tools' > 'Extension'
Find "Certified Toolbar"
Click 'Disable'

I installed Certified Toolbar, but it does not appear. Why?
Certified Toolbar may disabled.
In Internet Explorer, do the following:
Go to the "tools" menu at the top of your browser
Select "Manage Add-Ons"
Click "Certified Toolbar" to and click the "Enable" button at the lower right corner

In Firefox, do the following:
Go to the "tools" menu at the top of your browser
Select "Add-Ons"
Click "Certified Toolbar" to and click the "Enable" button which will appear under it

If at some point you uninstalled Certified Toolbar, and you are using a Microsoft browser, you may experience difficulty seeing it right away if you attempt to re-install it. The easiest way to make Certified Toolbar reappear is to close and restart your Web browser.

My browser says "user certificate invalid" when I attempt to download the Certified Toolbar.
You need to update your Internet Explorer browser to a more recent version.

Internet Explorer says "current security setting prohibit running" when downloading Certified Toolbar.
Internet Explorer 6.0:
Go to the "Tools" menu at the top of your browser
Select "Internet Options"
Go to the "Security" tab and click the "Custom Level" button, then choose "Medium Safety" under "Software channel permissions" and click "OK"
